GRADING RESULTS - FEBRUARY 2009
22/02/2009 16:47 Filed in: Gradings
Many happy faces at the end of a long
day.
The February grading started with a 90 minute
refresher on the three "K's" of karate (kihon, kata
and kumite) followed by some more advanced pair work
for the lower grades and padwork for the seniors.
After the break the grading panel (Sensei Kevin Gilbert, Alex Blamey and Fran Long) put everyone through their paces.
The beginners and white belts set the pace with an energetic and lively grading, and the higher grades followed suit with a demonstration of hard work and good technique. All in all, pretty much what the grading panel wanted to see.
Those successful were:-
8th Kyu - White belt
Lorraine Brand [Penryn/Falmouth]
Bradley Ivey [Camborne]
Chris Adams [Camborne]
Fin Tennenbaum-Peters [Devoran/Falmouth]
7th Kyu - Yellow Belt
Terri Lander [Helston]
Tim Palmer [Newlyn]
Shaun McBride [Camborne]
Matthew Fisher [Camborne]
Taylor Vercoe [Camborne]
5th Kyu - Green Belt
Ben Rigby [Newlyn]
Joseph Manley [Devoran/Camborne]
3rd Kyu - Blue Belt
Vicky Sharpe [Devoran]
2nd Kyu - Brown Belt
Euan Bassey [Penryn/Falmouth]
Aiden Tennenbaum [Penryn/Devoran/Falmouth]
Well done to all.
