Grading Results - May 22nd 2011

After the warm ups the students were separated into two groups with Sensei Collick taking the lower grades and Shihan Whale the seniors. The focus was on the basic foundations of karate - stances, good technique, kata and ippon kumite.

After the break the grading commenced, with the students examined by Shihan Whale, Shihan Gilbert and Sensei Long.

Some gradings are better than others and, sadly, this was not one of the better gradings. The grading panel had a lot of discussion over the students' performance and those that passed are as follows.
