Helston cancelled, but Chacewater goes
ahead.
The weather was not our friend on Sunday when the
Helston Club were due to do a demonstration at the
Cornwall’s Strongest Man event. Most of the day was
solid rain and nearly everything at the event was
cancelled. We waited until the last moment praying
for a reprieve but it was not to be.
However, the next day was a different matter at Chacewater.

Though threatening rain,
we had a clear slot in the afternoon and members of
the Devoran and Camborne dojo put on a much
appreciated display.
One of the highlights was a stunning display of
Taikyoku kata by Thomas Agnew who gave a crisp and
sharp performance (picture below).
