Student of the Year Awards at the Christmas
Party.
The Wheal Dream was the venue for the Sandokai Karate
2008 Christmas Party and Awards.
The venue was packed with over 70 Sandokai practitioners, family and friends up for a night of fun.
After making our various "hellos" we sat down to a turkey meal. After the food, and a recharge of our glasses the trophies and medals were handed out for the winners of our Annual Competition held this year in Devoran.
Next on the agenda was our annual Student of the Year awards, presented to the following people.
CAMBORNE (Junior Class) - Thomas Agnew
CAMBORNE (Senior Class) - Daniel Thompson
DEVORAN - Vicky Sharpe
HELSTON - Megan Richards
NEWLYN - Ben Rigby
PENRYN - Ben Rule
Well done to all of them.
After that the raffle was drawn, and we seemed to have almost as many prizes as people.
Finally, the disco kicked off and we settled down to some serious winding down after a long and hectic year.
