Club Rules
Apart from our formal Constitution and Rules we have a "local" version of the etiquette expected of our members in their daily training in the Dojo.

1: All members must ensure that ...
(a) they are not wearing any dangerous or metal objects:
(b) they are not intoxicated in any way:
(c) toe and finger nails are cut:
(d) their Karate suits are clean:
(e) their feet are kept clean.
2: All students should be members of their club and be in possession of a current licence at all times.
3: Gradings will only be carried out by an official Sandokai Examiner.
4: The correct Sandokai uniform will be worn at all times.
5: Training fees should be paid in advance to the club secretary or his/her deputy.
6: Proper dojo etiquette should be observed at all times.
7: Respect is to be shown to other students, irrespective of their grade.
8: All instructors are to be referred to as either "Sempai" (1st and 2nd Dans) or "Sensei" (3rd Dan or above).
9: Smoking is forbidden in the dojo.
10: Food and drink are not to be consumed in the dojo.
11: Members may not leave the dojo during the training session without first obtaining the permission of the senior grade.
12: Bad language or behaviour will not be tolerated.
